How to Plan Your Wall Art

In this post, we introduce you to our charming selection of wall art, albums, keepsakes, and gifts, and inspire you to fill your home with natural portraits for every space.

There’s something different about portraits at Eagle Ridge Photography & Design.

It’s our 4.5 acres of natural-play feast that beckon you to let your hair down. It’s our custom wall art ideas that bring a sense of optimism to your home décor. It’s also the remarkable warmth of a reveal & ordering session with no strings attached.

One such difference—a vast collection of samples of the artwork we offer—hits you with a dramatic change of perspective. We’ve pulled together ideas that light up your home in ways that might be new, or could just be the perfect addition to art you already love. Sometimes a fresh addition is all it takes for your wall art to come alive all over again.

Planning Your Wall Art: An Overview

Your Eagle Ridge Experience includes no small amount of preparation on our part. Beginning as early as your inquiry call, we keep track of your gallery, album, and keepsake ideas. Then, at your reveal & ordering session, we give you an uninterrupted date in our log home to view your images and finalize your purchase.

We schedule your reveal for approximately two weeks after your session. Whether you’re looking for a custom wall art gallery, album, family keepsakes, or gifts for grandparents, this is when we turn your dreams for charming portraits into a tangible display that fits your home and your budget. During your kid-free hour of delicious refreshments and snuggling on our oversized couch, we help you match your favorite portraits to products you already know you love.

We ask that all decision makers be present at the reveal—yes, even if you’ve agreed on a budget and decided on your purchases ahead of time. This way, any spontaneous purchases will be a joint decision.

If, for an unforeseen reason, you can’t make a decision right away, we’ll schedule a follow-up meeting to help you finalize your purchase within the week. We’ll send your order to our lab when you have paid in full.

You can expect to receive your art and digital files within 4-6 weeks of finalizing your purchase. You will receive the corresponding digitals for portraits included in your wall art and albums.

Finding Purpose for Your Portraits

The burning question: How much should you invest in wall art?

That depends on your dreams and budget. If this seems overwhelming, don’t lose hope. Many of our families select the Spark Collection, an album, and a few tabletop prints.

Here’s a preview of the art we offer, including the purpose behind each type of art and a few options to give you perspective:

WALL ART

Purpose: Hang up the images you want to enjoy on a grand scale every single day. We offer framed and matted prints, acrylic prints, and premium canvas wraps, all of which are high in quality and craftsmanship. Our wall art is remarkable, whether a standalone feature or full gallery.
Perspective: We’ve crafted three gallery collections to inspire your personalized designs.
Price: Gallery collections start at $1,500. À la carte from $400.

  • Our Signature Collection is a phenomenal array for an indulgent budget and includes 7-9 portraits of varying sizes.
  • Our Inspire Collection is designed to display the best of the best in intimate spaces and includes 5-6 portraits of varying sizes.
  • Well-suited to snug walls or compact spaces, our Spark Collection features an intimate arrangement of up to 4 small and medium portraits.

ALBUM

Purpose: Snuggle on the couch with your favorite people and a hand-crafted album.
Perspective: We offer three unique album styles.
Price: Books and albums start at $380.

  • Our 10×10 premium album features up to 30 images with extra thick spreads.
  • Our 10×10 layflat book includes up to 24 images with thinner spreads adhered back-to-back.
  • Our 8×8 hardcover book includes up to 15 images and is crafted with magazine printed pages that curve at the spine like a classic, beautifully bound book.

KEEPSAKES

Purpose: Grace every nook in your home with simple reminders of your blessings.
Perspective: Keepsakes include our Easel Collection, framed tabletop prints, metal magnets, accordion mini books, and mini snapshots, and can hold anywhere from three to 20 images. Sizes vary by product.
Price: Keepsakes start at $200.

GIFT PRINTS

Purpose: Brighten favorite picture frames with small mounted prints for grandparents.
Perspective: Gift prints are mounted to a 3mm board for easy framing or display, and are available in the following sizes: 4×6, 5×7, 8×10, and 8×12.
Price: Gift prints start at $116.

DIGITAL FILES

Purpose: Have other ideas in mind for your portraits? Take home a set of digitals—or your entire gallery.
Perspective: When the thought of leaving the remainder of your portraits on the table (so to speak) starts feeling like you’re leaving your puppy out in the cold, make a plan for additional ways to use the images . . . or save them for a rainy day.
Price: Full gallery, typically >30 images: $3,000. Set of 10: $1,800.
